The speakers who brought the event to life

Report
Design is everywhere – in the objects we use, the interfaces we click, and the experiences we live. For this 2025 edition of the Foire du Valais, PRISM spotlighted design through a focused session on industrial design and interface design, right at the heart of the Espace Innothèque.
The event followed directly after the Rendez-vous de la Culture, a key moment for stakeholders in Valais’ creative and cultural industries – a perfect opportunity to extend the dialogue and explore new forms of collaboration.
Participants discovered two very different yet equally design-driven projects: Wawido, an intelligent wine bottle dispenser (presented by Alexandre Rossier and Grégoire Locher), and a sample collection robot (presented by Christian Vouillamoz).
What’s the main takeaway from this gathering?
Design isn’t the finishing touch – it’s a strategic tool.
When engineers and designers collaborate from the start, the results speak for themselves:
– lower costs
– more functional products
– refined aesthetics
– and ultimately… more sales
